The Villa Costanza car park, accessible from the A1 motorway, is connected to the city centre by a tram service running from 5.00 am to 11.30 pm. The ZTL (Restricted Traffic Zone) in Florence is in operation from 7.30 am to 8.00 pm Monday to Friday, and from 7.30 am to 4.00 pm on Saturdays. It is not in operation on Sundays and public holidays.
On all forms of public transport in Florence, you can buy tickets directly using a contactless card (or the card linked to your mobile phone). The ticket costs 2 euros and is valid for 90 minutes. If you are asked to show your ticket, simply provide the last 4 digits of your card.
