Location

AIRPORT

To reach the apartment from Florence Airport take the T2 tram and get off at the Valfonda stop, then walk 10 minutes to the flat. If you wish to walk less you can stay on the tram and get off at S. Marco Università, which is only 4 minutes walk away. 

CAR

Via de Ginori is in a restricted traffic zone which can only be accessed at certain times of day (these times vary so it is best to check). Currently access is not permitted between 7.30 am and 8.00 pm Monday to Friday and from 7.30 am to 4.00 pm on Saturdays. Sundays and Holidays there is no restricted access. 

The nearest garage is Garage S. Orsola (35 euro a day, open from 7.00 am to 12.00 am), 3 minutes walk from the flat. Best to book in high season. As you are unlikely to be using your car in Florence you might also consider leaving it at the Villa Costanza parking lot just off the motorway, which has a direct tram link to the main station, which is 10 minutes walk away from the flat. This only costs 7 euro a day, and the time spent in traffic getting to the flat is about the same it will take you on the tram. This parking lot is open 24/7. 

TRAIN

The main train station (S. Maria Novella) is 10 minutes walk from the flat along Via Nazionale and the Mercato Centrale.
