An ideal flat if you're visiting Florence and wish to retreat from the bustle at the end of the day. The flat is a fourth floor walk up but the view from the terrace and the peace and quiet make the climb worthwhile. The bathroom has a shower and window, the bedroom doubles as a comfortable living room, and the kitchen also has a dining area. Opposite the dining area are the steps the lead up to the terrace. The flat is air conditioned and has a perfectly functional kitchen with a microwave oven and induction hobs. We also provide a good internet connection, an iron and small ironing board.
THE TERRACE
Enjoy breakfast and dinner on the small terrace with an exceptional view of the Florence Cathedral and Giotto's Bell Tower.
You can also spot the cupola of San Lorenzo, the roof of the central market and Fiesole.
THE LOCATION
The flat is ideally located for visiting the sights of Florence, just a few hundred yards from the Duomo and even closer to exceptional sights such as the Cappella dei Magi (on the right) with its frescoes by Benozzo Gozzoli (on the right) and the Convento di San Marco adorned with frescoes by Fra Angelico. Michelangelo's David is close by and the Uffizi and Palazzo Pitti are a mere quarter of an hour's walk away.
